中学2年グローバルクラスは、聖心インターナショナルスクールに国内留学中です。

22日(水)は朝礼で札幌聖心の学校紹介とよさこいソーランの披露をしました。練習の成果を発揮してとても良い発表ができ、大きな拍手をいただくことができました。

社会の授業ではアイヌについて学んでおり、ISSHの生徒にアイヌについて説明することができました。

日本語の授業では先生のお手伝いをすることができました。

ISSHから学寮に戻って食事をしているときに、“Let’s speak only in English!”という声が上がり、自分たち同士でいるときもずっと英語で話していました。

明日はISSHでの最後の授業のため、一週間お世話になった友達にお礼の手紙を書きたいと言って、それぞれ何通もの手紙を英語で書いていました。

〜振り返りより〜

We taught 5th and 6th graders Japanese at the Japanese class.  I was happy to see them study our language eagerly. (K. A.)

I tried to speak English more and make new friends since we are leaving the day after tomorrow. (R. S.)

After the YOSAKOI dance performance, one of the classmates said to me, “You’re a good dancer!” I was so happy to hear that. Tomorrow is the last day at ISSH. It’ll make me sad but I want to enjoy myself tomorrow. (O. T.)

I couldn’t understand almost anything in English last week, but suddenly today I’m able to listen to English words. I’m very happy I can understand what the teachers and my classmates say in English. (M. S.)
